So recently we decided to take it back 11 years to the year 2000, to see what was good in Hip-Hop, sports, and all that good stuff. Even though the year 2000 was a true transitional year for Sports, Style, and Hip-Hop…. we can’t stop there. 
Let’s take it back 11 more years to 1989. Back when I used to chase girls at OXR but none of them chased me back.

Back when Joe Dumars and Isaiah Thomas led the Detroit Pistons in a 4-0 sweep of the showtime Lakers.
The Fighting Lou Holtzies won the National Championship after beating then #3 West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl, #2 USC on the road, and #1 Miami in the classic Catholics vs. Convicts game. Duke, Seton Hall, Michigan, and Illinois were in the Final Four, with Michigan beating Seton Hall by 1 in the championship game.
Kids were watching Inspector Gadget, the original Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Double Dare, and You Can’t Do That on Television. Adults were watching Cheers, Night Court, Cosby Show, and Steve Urkel was introduced in the first season of Family Matters.
And the Air Jordan III’s dropped.
Yes, I was into all of that, but mostly I was into the music. I kept fresh batteries for my Walkman.
I even had electrical tape that I used to stick my walk man to the handlebars on my bike.
Oh and when I say Walkman, I’m not talking bout the CD Walkman or those lil TVs… I’m talking about the old school tape deck Walkman.

This track was simply a foreshadowing event of what this group was capable of putting together. This one still hits hard.
